Last Tuesday we had our last club meeting for this year – so we used the opportunity for an Open House Christmas Party. After the regular program, we stayed a while for cookies, mulled wine and chats.

But of course we also had a regular club meeting with speeches, table topics and evaluations. The speeches were influenced by the season, but interpreted it from different angles – looking back and ahead, or just enjoying winter time. All prepared speeches were related to the speakers‘ Pathways programme, and thus were exceptionally well-prepared. In return, the speaker’s received little feedback notes from other members and an evaluation speech helping them to further improve their public speaking skills.

After the Christmas vacations, we will meet again on January 9th, when we will again have a full programme with three speeches and an educational presentation about the use of wikis.

Vanesa, the Toastmaster of the Evening, yielding the floor to Daniel, our Club President.
